electoral lists the shame of an obsolete law

In Italy the law that regulates the methods of presentation of electoral lists dates back 50 years ago, and has been repeatedly judged anachronistic by the United Nations. In fact, the search for signatures is a complicated matter, especially if it has to be carried out in just under two months, and in the middle of summer moreover. The signatures must be collected by hand and authenticated, at the time of signature, by a public official present on site. This is why the Luca Coscioni Association recently denounced this practice which is no longer in line with the times, claiming the goodness of digital signature which is already used in many European countries, including Germany.
